Top headlines 🗞️
Alice & Bob, a quantum computing developer, received a €16.5m government grant to cut quantum costs
Diversified, a luxury investing platform, has been acquired by its Irish competitor Konvi; the transaction size was undisclosed
Lizee acquired Freepry, a second-hand marketplace for retailers; terms were not disclosed
LoungeUp , a CRM solution for hotels, has been acquired by D-Edge; terms were not disclosed
[French announcement] Global mobility provider Valeo announced a partnership with Google Cloud, which will involve integrating generative AI into its manufacturing workflows
[French announcement] Orano Group partnered with Supernova Invest to launch the Orano Venture fund, a €50m sustainability-focused fund
Funding activity 💸
The top five deals accounted for €121m (~80% of this week’s fundraising activity).
Deals outside the top five include:
Surge raised a €7.5m round; BPI France contributed €2.2m, with the remaining €5.3m split between Eurazeo, Kima Ventures, Teampact, and Malakoff Humanis
Firecell raised a ~€7m round led by Ventech and Matterwave Ventures
The Mobile First Company raised a €3.5m pre-seed round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners
Airthium raised €3m from Daphni, Eren Groupe, and Polytechnique Ventures
Metyos raised a €2.3m seed round led by Cenitz
Air Booster raised a €1.5m Series A extension round; participating investors are not disclosed
Libu raised a €1m from multiple angels and institutional investors
Viqthor raised a €1m round from Better Angle, Apok Invest, iXcore, and business angels
Heypster raised a €140k round from business angels
